Slow Afternoons
Some days stay with you because nothing really happened.
The hours in between.
A coffee that lasted longer than expected. A table in the sun you did not want to leave. The walk back with nowhere else to be. A second drink ordered simply because nobody was ready to go yet.
Slow Afternoons is built around that feeling. After lunch, before dinner. When the day has already started but there is still no reason to hurry.
This collection takes its language from Italy, not the postcard version, but the everyday one. Espresso cups left on small tables. Chairs pulled onto the pavement. A scooter parked in the shade. Aperitivo beginning a little earlier than planned.
Every piece belongs to the same afternoon.
The pieces are simple because the moments they reference do not need much explaining. Relaxed silhouettes, soft cotton and graphics inspired by old café signs, restaurant menus, hotel stationery and matchbooks collected along the way.
The colours
Taken from striped awnings, faded shopfronts, wine labels, old Vespas and walls softened by years in the Mediterranean sun.
